QOD - 3/5/12

You know how sometimes you ask questions of the kids, just so that you don't sound like you're barking orders all the time? They're questions like "Did you brush your teeth?" and "Did you finish your homework?" The instruction is implied in the question, but it comes across much nicer. And usually the kids get it.
Last night, I was getting ready to tuck Alex in and noticed she was still wearing her bathrobe. So I asked, "Do you have your jammies on?" intending to imply that before I could tuck her in, she needed to change into her pajamas.
Her response: "A robe counts as a jammie, doesn't it?"
