House With No Kitchen

For the next little while, I'll be writing about our renovation antics. Specifically, how someone like me (food lover, avid home cook, hater of fast food) can survive without a kitchen.

Our home is under renovation, and I officially lost my favorite appliance this past weekend - a fabulous gas stove and oven. This photo shows where my stove used to be.

Today is day 2 of the adventure. For day 1, we went out to Chipotle. It was delicious and cost in the range of $17 for me and the girls. Thank goodness they're still young enough to eat from the kids menu at most places. Otherwise we'd be broke for sure! Pete was out of town, so he probably ate something terribly unhealthy, or nothing at all.

Anyway, hopefully I can come up with some fun and interesting ways to feed us all that are easy, yummy, and budget friendly. I guess we'll see!
