Product Recommendation – J&J Flexible Fabric Band-aids with Quiltvent Technology

I’ve never done a product recommendation before, at least not officially. But as a mom of two very active (and accident prone) kids, I just have to report on this new band-aid.

Yes, you read right, I’m recommending a band-aid.

Meet the Johnson & Johnson Flexible Fabric (extra large) band-aid with “Quiltvent Technology”.

There are all sorts of claims on the package, and honestly, I didn’t read those at all when I bought them. I really just needed some big band-aids that would stay put on my kids torn up knees. I’ve learned the hard way which ones NOT to buy, so this fell in the category of something I’d give a try, since it hadn’t failed me before.

The box says “Creates air channels for superior breathability” and “Wicks away blood to keep wounds clean.” Well, I am here to tell you that it's the truth. Use this and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how it helps the wound heal and get better faster.

I was shocked when the morning after Maryssa wore this band-aid we took it off and her horrible-looking knee wound, which was full of blood, dirt and who knows what else, was nearly clean and looked quite a bit better than I’d expected it to.

We also used this band-aid on Alex after she busted up her knee mountain biking and found it to be long lasting, but without the painfully sticky adhesive that’s hard to get off.

Here is some information from the company about this product. If you want to try it out, there's a link to a printable coupon available also. http://www.band-aid.com/quilt

So there you go, a product recommendation from the Almasy family.
