Yes, its dark in the picture. We go to the bus stop a O'Dark-Thirty. Also, this is the picture where I forced Alex to smile. Previously, she was wearing a frown that looked like a cross between a sneer and that face you make right before you start crying.
I'm excited to hear about the first day, and what their classes will be like. Much more excited than I was on my first day of 7th grade! I don't remember those times very fondly, so to try and bring them some joy, I think I'll pick up some cupcakes on the way home!
